Thanksgiving Donations
The Board of Missions is requesting donations of pies, instant mashed potatoes, and canned vegetables.
Please place non-perishable items in the designated crate at the Missions Station by Sunday November 8. When you have pies ready to donate, please call/text Debby McBride at 704-506-6401.
All ages are invited on Wednesday night, November 18 to prepare these items to be delivered to those in need in our community.
Mobile Food Distribution
The Board of Missions is partnering with Food for Families NC for their Mobile Food Distribution, October 29, at Health Sciences Academy at Monroe Middle School.
The board invites 20-25 volunteers to assist. Distribution will take place in the school’s bus parking lot and will begin promptly at 5:00 PM (usually 1 - 1 ½ hours). Please arrive at 4:40 PM after all buses have departed and park at the back of the bus parking lot.
