August Prayer Focus
God's Will - Loving God
As we enter the month of August, let’s unite as a thriving church family with one prayer on our hearts: "Lord, Your will be done in us and through us."
Jesus taught His disciples to pray, "Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven" (Matthew 6:10). Before God changes the world around us, He desires to transform the hearts within us. A thriving church is not simply busy doing good things—it’s a people fully surrendered to God's best.
This month, we invite every person and every family to intentionally pray:
- God's will be done in us—that He would shape our hearts, strengthen our faith, deepen our love for Him, reveal areas that need repentance, and make us more like Jesus.
- God's will be done through us—that He would use our words, actions, generosity, compassion, and witness to bring hope to our neighbors, our community, and beyond.
Pray for open doors to share Christ's love. Pray for courage to follow wherever God leads. Pray for unity within our church family as we seek His purpose together. Pray that every ministry, every conversation, every act of service, and every decision would reflect God's heart and advance His kingdom.
May August become a month of surrender, obedience, and joyful faithfulness as we seek God's will above our own. Let’s trust that as He works in us, He will also work powerfully through us for His glory.
